How do we change unsuccessfulness to success? When we're unsuccessful in any area of our life, how do we right that? We have several options. One option is to buy books on the topic. Another is to take courses. Or we can introspect into our lives.
Another option exists. We start an uncovering journey to understand ourselves better. Such a self-awareness journey has the benefit of creating a wider understanding of ourselves. Focusing on only one aspect does not address other aspects of ourselves that are needed to support the area we're focusing on.
So we might be pursuing something, say to create financial success, that we don't even like, but we're doing it nonetheless, trying to create financial success. In this instance would it not be better to pursue financial success on a basis of something we like doing, and have a passion for? And would it not serve us better if we knew why we fail when we attempt certain things? And know what our natural strengths are? And what our talents and temperament are.
So we can take a holistic approach to addressing our financial success as opposed to merely pursuing something to only address our financial state. Does this appeal to you, that you take a different approach altogether, to create financial success? That you base your financial success on what you like doing, what you have talents for?
You can base your financial success on your temperament. And above all, you can base it not on bringing external value to your life, but on developing your financial prowess on your own existing inherent value, and bringing your meaning to how you make a living.
For instance, what about your dreams (not the sleep kind) and your daydreams? Do you dream about what your life could be? Do you know what the undercurrent of those dreams is? Do you have a vision for your life?
Goals and objectives are all attainable because in essence they are smaller than us. Instead our vision is bigger than us. It is not something we aspire to. It is not something we live out to prove ourselves. Instead it's a declaration of ourselves. Our vision is bigger than us. It is the blueprint for our life.
